Charlie is my tai chi teacher. He has been teaching tai chi since the 1980s at the University of New Mexico and privately. Ninety-nine percent of what I know about tai chi I learned from Charlie.

Charlie's tai chi teacher. He was based in Hong Kong. I attended his 100th birthday in 2016 and it was one of the most profound experiences of my life. Sadly, Sifu passed on in April 2021 at the age of 105.

Sifu's tai chi teacher. He was a famed martial artist and the author of the Red Book, an important tai chi manual in our lineage. He created our family's fast (fighting) form.

Tung Ying Chieh's teacher. Yang Chengfu is probably the most famous teacher in the history of tai chi.

Yang Chengfu's father and teacher.

Yang Chienhou's father and teacher. Yang Luchan's nickname was Yang the Invincible. He was the founder of the Yang style of taijiquan.
