In these difficult times, we can come together while standing apart. Tai chi (taijiquan) is an internal martial art that provides healthy exercise with a broad range of physical motion. It also gives us tools for decreasing stress while increasing mental clarity.
Tai chi classes for beginners on Sunday mornings at
10:15 a.m. Classes for experienced practitioners on Sunday mornings at 11 am. Partner practice on Wednesdays from 5-6 pm. All sessions are held in Albuquerque's Hidden Park (aka "McDuffie Park"). Hidden Park is "hidden," meaning it doesn't have direct street access. Walkways on Solano, Hermosa and Mackland lead to the park.
My name is Steve. I've practiced tai chi since 2003. I am a lineage holder in the Tung family tradition with authorization to teach all aspects of this style of tai chi. Look for a guy with a wooden sword and a long stick.
